Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans (chickpeas) or great northern beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Mash beans in a small bowl until they are smooth.
2. Stir in oil, lemon juice, onion, and salt.
3. Refrigerate leftovers.
