Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schenectady County

Cornell Cooperative Extension Schenectady County WIC Program offers NY WIC program support for those who live in the surrounding areas. Pregnant women, new mothers, and guardians of children under age five come to us frequently for guidance and nutritional support. When you come into the Cornell Cooperative Extension Schenectady County WIC Program office for WIC services, we will listen to your concerns, help you determine eligibility, and support healthy decision making.

Those who qualify for state WIC services through Cornell Cooperative Extension Schenectady County WIC Program can access financial support for grocery shopping, breastfeeding support, and educational support in the surrounding areas. Give yourself and your child the gift of health. Women and single men enduring financial hardship can regain a sense of health and empowerment through this program. Farmer’s Market checks are currently available!

You do not need to have an appointment scheduled to pick up checks. Don’t forget to bring your WIC ID card!

Checks can be used until the end of November.

A baby café is a free drop-in service offering breastfeeding support for pregnant women and new parents.
